iChat_Client

To enable Internet Explorer to use the iChat (GlobalChat) client:

Click "Tools/Internet Options" on the Internet Explorer toolbar

Click the "Security" tab, then the "Trusted Sites" button:

Add the URL of the LRWG chat site in the "Trusted Sites" dialog box and hit the "Add" button. Then click "OK".

For the Long Ridge Writers Group Chat site, enter:

http://www.longridgewritersgroup.com

Note: Make sure the box below "Require server verification (https:).." is NOT checked.

Close your browser, then restart it. If your ActiveX settings are correct, that will enable the iChat client to function.

You can then logon to the chat site using the iChat client.

For LRWG:

To Allow the chat client to function with FireFox 2.0

Select "Tools/Options From the Drop-down:

Select the "Security" tab, then "Exceptions"

Add longridgewritersgroup.com in the dialog box then click the "Allow" button
