My first shower of May FLower prompts is in this week's issue. Check them out for a bit of spring color!

You all are sending work out! Check out the Applause section for news of submissions and sales! Your turn next, eh?

Looking for a contest? Check out Suzanne Lilly's Contest Corner.

Donna Ippolito has a great new tip From the Instructor's Desk.

Don't miss our May Professional Connection visit with Louise Marley, YA and adult fantasy writer and Long Ridge Instructor.

Fine Travel webzine is looking for travel narratives and humor and they pay. Check it out.

Need a virtual office? Try a CD of ocean sounds or soothing breezes from White Noise, my webeditor's pick this week.

Jean Lauzier reviews two writers conferences. A good time was had by all!

Our  Want Ad section is a great place to ask for help, a critique, or share writers conference information. And remember that a review published here is a clip. I can always use reviews of websites, books for writers, and books that you think are particularly good.

Don't forget the Most Persistent Writer Award to be awarded next September. Sending out your work counts, remember...not acceptances! You'll find the very simple rules in our 'Applause' section.

 Check out the Newsletter!
