Surviving and Thriving - Getting Started

Entrance to a Private Room.

How To by Dorry Pease

Enter the general chat room through the login process. Once inside...

Click once on "private room"3. The window which pops up will ask you a couple of questions (like a short application). NOTE: When it says: Short description, it means just that, four or five words will do. For example: I just write in "writers want to get together". The long description means to SLIGHTLY expand on the short description. You do not need to spend extra time on this process.

Click the secret box and then click on the pull down for the private.dat box. Do not enter anything in the URL box. It seems to confuse the computer.

Click on CREATE PRIVATE ROOM and voila you are in. The room tells you how to invite anyone else you want in there with you.. Writers can not enter unless you invite them and you determine when the session is over by leaving the room. Be cautioned here, if you leave no one else can stay, the room is closed.

6. When you are through simply walk out...room is closed.

Thanks, Dorry!
