Llewellyn Worldwide is following up the successful launch
of
its mystery imprint, Midnight Ink (http://www.midnightinkbooks.com)
with a new
imprint aimed at the Young Adult Market. To be called Flux, the imprint will
release seven books in the fall of 2006, and anticipates 21 titles in 2007.
Andrew Karre is the acquiring editor. He's looking for "fantasy, horror,
literary fiction, a lot of coming-of-age fiction. There's no Llewellyn New Age
or paranormal angle to this imprint." Flux accepts submissions from both
agented
and unagented authors, both complete manuscripts and proposals. Guidelines are
available at http://www.llewellyn.com/history/flux_submissions.pdf
