Mystery Writers of America announces the new: Lowery Nixon Award (for kids)
MWA would like to invite students from second grade to tenth grade to participate in a national short story contest in honor of KLAM (Kids Love A Mystery).
Students from grades 2, 3, and 4 must submit at least 100 words and no more than 500 words Grades 6 – 10 must submit at least 250 words and no more than 1000 words. One story per student. The prize in each category is $150.
Entries will be accepted between January 1, 2006 to Feb 15th 2006.
